Today is an exception… I won’t be doing a polish review. Instead I will share with you my entry in the OPI Facebook contest called, Haunted Movie Mani. The contest ends tomorrow. Wish me luck! I had a blast doing my nails and I hope you like them :)
For the contest, you needed to do a mani based on a Halloween movie. I chose my all time favorite, which is Disney’s, Hocus Pocus (1993). This was done completely freehand (I was an art major in college), which means no use of tape, or stickers. Below are more photos, as well as details, including the colors I used. If you have any questions about the process, feel free to ask. Enjoy!
Pinky Finger: Billy Butcherson’s mouth, sewn shut.. FUN FACT: its says XIII (unlucky number 13).
Ring Finger: Mary Sanderson’s stockings.
Middle Finger: Winifred Sanderson’s corset.
Pointer Finger: The potion used to, 'suck the lives out of little children!'
Thumb: The Book of Spells.
For the base coat, I used Horse Power Nail Fertilizer, from butter LONDON. The topcoat used was Seche Vite Fast Dry Topcoat. So what does everyone think? Good, bad.. ugly?
