I am obsessed with the color Cynthia! It is from the new Zoya collection Smoke & Mirrors. My preview for the fall collection can be found (here).

Cynthia is described as a smoky, blackened peacock teal, with soft warm undertones, which doesn’t even describe how beautiful it is. The color is a very dark, deep, teal creme. However, there is a slight (and I mean slight), shimmer to it. I saw the shimmer when applying the first coat. After the second coat, the shimmer was gone. Depending on the light, Cynthia will be teal, or almost black. It is a very uncommon shade of blue for a subtle but funky look!
For the photos below, I used only two coats of polish.

For some reason, I like to see what colors look like with a matte top coat. Here is a comparison photo. You can clearly see the difference between matte and glossy. I used Matte About You, from Essie.

Since the Zoya collection Smoke & Mirrors is divided into half cremes and half shimmers, I can’t wait to try a color from the shimmer/Mirrors side! Like I said, I am obsessed with the color Cynthia! It is such a beautiful shade of teal/blue that can’t be passed up. If you see it in stores, buy a bottle. It is definately my favorite color of 2011.
